READING and WRITING:

2nd grade students need to read for 20 minutes every day during the week.  The Rocket Reader page is assigned each Monday and due the following Monday.  5 days of 20 minutes reading should be filled out with a parent's signature for each time. In addition, each student needs to work on writing a summary of what they read for 10 minutes each day.  Summaries are also due the following Monday, along with the Rocket Readers.

MATH:

2nd grade students need to work on math facts for 20 minutes every day during the week.  Math Boxes worksheets or other math worksheets, and flash cards will be sent home for students to work on and turn in the following day.  Each worksheet should have a parent's signature at the bottom of each worksheet.
