I lived in China for 7 years. The first 4 years I taught at an international school, teaching 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. The last 3 years, some teacher-friends and I began a charity work where we hired and trained caregivers to take care of 47 orphan children.  Due to living in China, I had to learn to speak Mandarin Chinese; and so, I can relate to the students of Noble with the difficulties of learning and speaking a 2nd language and still trying to maintain your first language skills.
