When I first started the education program at St. Kate's I wasn't sure why I had decided to enter the teaching profession. As I got further into the program and began getting out in the field working with the students I realized why I was there. It's not for the money or the summer vacations.... but for the moment when you are working with a student and you see the light come on that says "I get it". I also love to learn and I believe that my students can teach me as much as I teach them, and probably more!
