We are nearing the end of a great year in 5th grade.  I am absolutely thrilled with the progress that the students have made this year.  The work they have been doing is incredible, and I am so proud of them.  We are in the middle of a long testing season.  So far, the students have completed 2 of their 3 MCA math tests, have 1 segment left of their reading MCA test, and will take the science MCA test in two weeks.  I hope their motivation remains high as they continue...

January 26, 2012 After a nice winter break we have started off the year 2012 well.  In math class we have covered many topics in the last month.  Coordinate Systems was probably the students’ favorite, as they got to play a lot of ‘Battleship’ where they had to guess coordinates in order to sink they’re partner’s boats.  We’ve also covered the number properties including:  commutative, associative, and distributive.  The couple days we spent on inequalities were more...
Happy Holidays!

My class has just left, after their last day of school for this year!  I am excited for each student to have some time to be at home with their families and enjoy a short break from school.  We have had a wonderful first few months of school, and has definitely earned a break after all of the hard work they have put in so far this school year. Over break, students are expected to keep up with their homework!  They have a math packet to complete, and are also expected to complete...

Since I was five years old I knew I was going to be a teacher.  My kindergarten teacher was amazing, and I wanted to be just like her.  I always loved being at school!

I look forward to being a part of the Noble Academy teaching staff.  I work well with others and am looking forward to learning from everyone on staff this year.

I love to be active.  You will rarely find me watching TV - I don't even own one!  I spend my free time biking, going on walks, running, playing racquetball, tennis, broomball, or anything else that is fun.  When I can't get outside I like to play games, cook, and read.  My family lives all around the country, Washington DC, Missouri, and California.  I like to spend time travelling to visit them, but if I could, I would travel outside of the US to as many countries as possible.
