I enjoy helping people attain their lifelong goals. As a math teacher I get the opportunity everyday to support students learning through encouragement and direction so that they wil be successful this day as well as in high school, college, and beyond.
I hope to add value to every student through meaningful mathematics instruction. I bring a strong background in integrating technology for improving mathematics instruction. My experience with teaching algebra in high school and middle grades is a valuable resource to teach students the tools necessary for continued success in using mathematics at school and in their daily lives.
I have lived in Minnesota for the past 20 years and served at Fort Snelling in the Army Reserves.
I am currently working toward my Doctorate Degree in Education at Bethel University.
I take math tests for fun as well as enjoy running in local 5k and 10k events for charity.
My favorite place to hike/canoe/camp with my familiy is at Interstate Park in Taylor's Falls.
