Stephanie Hendrickson

4th Grade PLC Lead

Bachelors in Education K-8 from Bethel University in St. Paul MN.

I have taught in all grades from Kindergarten to 6th grade. I am going on my 13th year teaching. This is my 6th year at Noble Academy. I have been in 3 other districts and taught a huge range of diverse children of all ages. Fourth Grade is definitely my favorite grade to teach and I'm so excited to continue with some students I had last year and also get to know some new students.

Reason for becoming a Teacher:
I have known my entire life that I wanted to teach. I love watching the enthusiasm and the light bulb go on in a child’s mind when they are excited, learning, challenged and when they GET IT! I love challenging the students and myself to grow in all aspects of life. I also enjoy connecting with them as they move up grades and seeing what they have accomplished.

Interesting Facts and Hobbies:
I grew up just outside the cities and moved to the St. Paul area about 8 years ago. I have a large blended family and am the oldest of 7 siblings. I just got engaged and will be getting married at the end of the school year. I am a huge hockey fan and enjoy watching all NHL games, especially my favorite team the MN Wild. I play volleyball all year long, this includes indoor, sand and grass. Sand volleyball is definitely my favorite to play. I also enjoy spending time with my niece who just turned 6 and my nephew who will be 4 in December. When I am not doing these things I love to read and I set goals every year to read more books than the last. Math and Science are my favorite subjects to teach!
