Elizabeth Wortman

4th Grade Teacher

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood- Middle Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I am licensed in both Early Childhood (Birth-3rd) and Elementary Education (K-6th).

I have taught in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade classrooms throughout my university experience. I also worked at a Child Care Center on the La Crosse campus for 2.5 years as an assistant teacher for toddlers-4 year olds. This is my first year at Noble Academy.

Reason for becoming a Teacher:
I became a teacher because I want to help students reach their goals. All students deserve to have someone cheering them on throughout their lives. As a teacher I can be their cheerleader.

Interesting Facts and Hobbies:
I studied abroad in India. When studying abroad I learned that I truly love traveling. I also love to hike and canoe. In the summers, I am a day camp counselor, teaching students how to fish, canoe, and build friendships with one another.
